Antenna polarization mode means that the antenna radiation when the formation of the electric field intensity direction. When the electric field intensity direction perpendicular to the ground, the waves are called vertically polarized wave; When the electric field intensity direction parallel to the ground, the waves are called horizontal polarization wave.

Antenna polarization has nothing to do with distance.

Mobile phone antenna according to the practice of manufacturers, generally has two kinds:

1, external vertical polarization direction is generally about 70%, the horizontal polarization direction is approximately 5%, basic can only receive vertically polarized wave.

2, built-in microstrip antenna In the vertical and horizontal polarization direction can receive effectively, is a quasi omnidirectional antennas.

3, if the vertical polarization, use level and the circular polarization antenna, the loss of more than 3 db, has more than 10-20 db loss.

天线极化方式即指天线辐射时形成的电场强度方向。当电场强度方向垂直于地面时，此电波就称为垂直极化波；当电场强度方向平行于地面时，此电波就称为水平极化波。

天线的极化方式与距离没有关系。

手机天线一般根据厂家的做法，有两种：

1、外置：一般是垂直极化方向为70%左右，水平极化方向为5%左右，基本只能接收垂直极化波。

2、内置微带天线：在垂直和水平极化方向都能有效接收，属准全向天线。

3、如果采用垂直极化，用水平和圆极化天线接收，远不止3dB损耗，有10-20dB以上的损耗。
